live in employee housing. talked to my aussie friend who is building rails for this years park. he was instruced by his boss to make a series of rails for three seprate parks. from what he told me is that there will be the flyer park, they will expire the 'super slow zone,' build a mini park at the start of the 'ssz,' build a mini park in the middle of the 'ssz,' and build a mini park just before the main park.

^lol^ copper was in a tiff with all of the newschoolers flying to the park. they came up with some ideas in order to keep the gapers happy. so they decided to expand the park. copper's long term goal for the park is to move it over to the moz, to the skiers right of the timberline express, so we dont have to take a 15min chair to access the park.

i've been saying they should put it on timberline since i started skiing there. but hey whatever.....the SSZ was about 90% of the reason i only got like 15 days at copper last year and went to WP the rest of the time, so i'm thrilled

the super slow zone. most resorts have slow zones but copper has a super slow zone for the massive amounts of gapers that attend the resort in the winter.

nice - I had read about it in Freeze, but wasn't sure if they would just add something tiny here or there... it's still a good place to practice skiing switch. Off Timberline would prob be one of the best places though... but that line gets mad hella long on sunny days.
