copper or winter park?

So who's been to either in the past few weeks? What are the parks like right now? Groomed? Big? Is everything open, possibly going tommorow or Monday and want to know which is better right now.

Have been to copper last year, slayed it, and winter park has been shitty for years but I hear it's blowin up? Any suggestions, comments?

 
copper is having a comp this weekend. i doubt much of the park will be open if you're not in the comp.

WP has definitely stepped it up the past few years. They are still finishing up everything, but I like the set up. In my opinion, the two bigger booters at the bottom of WP's park are some of the best in the area right now.

dont go to copper until they have there big side open. there going to have a jib park at the top of the eagle but its for zummiz employees only. you will get a glimse of new rails but ya cant hit them.

Yo, I was at Winter Park today. The conditions were sicke, so I only did a couple of park runs. The pipe sucks, but they got a whole assortment of good QUALITY rails. And I mean GOOD! There's been a lot of attention given to the takeoffs/ramps, and the spacing between all features is perfect. They got sweet booters everywhere too. Word of advice though, on the last booter (the big one), get ample speed. I JUST barely bottomed out on it today, and it hurt like F*CK! I saw tonnes of people doing the same thing. The landings are all very berry cherry soft though. Hit WP, I've heard Copper is still shit....they barely got any snow in that recent spell.

its true that copper doesn't have their huge right line open yet (at least not last weekend) but theyve got solid snow--ten inches the thursday before last. go to copper its ILL

ok...so far w.p. will probably one of the sickest if not the sickest park in colorado next to the pipeline at snowmass...so far the top section of the park has a weird box thing thats kinda fun than on the right they have a sick 3 bar flat rail...probably 25 ft long...then they have a huge kink box and they have a up flat and flat down rail...than i a table to the right...than the pipe is amazing i think...and to the left of the pipe there is a huge chunk of the park built up for rails...and they have a c rail right now...and they r throwing in a 30ft banked c soon as well as some raimbows and elf tails r gonna be...they made the transition in the pipe smaller this year...and the walls were comparable to brecks...the last section of the park has all the urban replica rails...and they have 2 down rails and a simple flat rail...than the three smaller booters...than at the bottom r the two moneys...its a sick park if u ask me

winter park is solid. i rode there for the last two weeks. it is nicely laid out with good jumps.

they just threw in 2 more c rails...a elf rail/also known as the candy cane...they also put in the rainbow...and finished all the indy replica rails...they still have about 3 or four more places rails can be put in and they r making more...and i counted about 15 rails just chilling in the tress so...thats good...and they threw in a fun little down rail hidden on this run off of kendrick...its bad ass

they just added a wall today...a fun box thingy...and a elf tail...they also added a higher version of the rail on top...its sick..check it out

they added 2 more c/boxes...and put in the feild goal rail...as well as some others on the bottom if ne one was curious ;)

I would definatley go to copper, especailly now because it is some nice skiing, i was just there yesterday. My friend went to WP and he was not happy about their terrain parks. For conditions you should just go to www.area93.com It is a radio station but they have an exellent snow report.

i went to winter park last weekend, it was so nice. the snow is getting really soft up there but you can still get enough speed so its pretty good

Ok. I went to copper once. Not only does the layout of the rails suck, but the jumps suck to. Nuff said. Plus WP has the jane with the best bumps round. Plus it sounds cool...

 
WP's park is super sweet.

I don't know wtf is up with copper. There's only like 3 jumps and they're laid out so badly that you can hardly get enough speed for any of them.
