Copper isn't doing a summer park again, need suggestions for summer.

So I was planning on Woodward Copper's summer Big Island hike park being open again, but I just heard that they aren't doing it this year. They just released their 2018/2019 passes and it's not mentioned anywhere, so pretty sure it's not happening. Really bummed out and don't know what to do this summer to keep skiing without spending thousands I don't have. Any suggestions?

Did you actually hear this from a reliable source? If you don't know for sure don't title threads "Copper isn't doing a summer park again".

Idk much about copper but what OP said makes it apparent that there’s no summer park. So his title is fine. Chill out man

I'm just bitter because if it was true then I'd be pissed as well since my season has been shit with long business trips. It seems like in the past they don't announce stuff about the park until like April.

Pretty sure they're upgrading American eagle and flyer lifts this summer and don't want to have a summer park. Shitty, but new lift construction does put a damper on things.

Where are you from? At least on the east coast we now have powder ridge, with a major summer setup, Ward Hill is mass has a little rail line and liberty university is also pretty dope, but if ya want snow it’s woodward camp, windells, momentum, or go to Europe(probably missed a couple)

Sorry for the late reply on my own thread. It's confirmed by many sources including Copper themselves. It's not happening. Super bad move on their behalf imho. However theres nothing I, nor anyone can do about it.

Looks like MT. Hood is the best option for anyone who's seeking another year round season for cheap. If anyone has advice of where I should be looking for housing and of course a job, I'd greatly appreciate it. Willing to do pretty much anything to make at least enough to survive while there. For whatever reason, its really hard to get relevant Google results for that area. I keep getting outdated or irrelevant results.

Sorry for being the bringer of bad news, but it's better to know that it's not happening now, rather than later. I also feel like Copper hasn't announced it because they want people to still buy their all access pass, despite it not including summer skiing anymore. Their even charging $50 more for only 2/3 the pass they offered last year.

Thank you all in advance for any advice regarding Hood and good luck to everyone else who has to start making moves to keep skiing.
