COP updates

hopefully with this snow and colder temps they are blowing a shit load of snow so they can get the top park set up good and the bottom one better
 
cop pretty much sucks right now. they have the same set up as before, but they are making a crap load of snow right now, but they still need waaaaayyyy more.
 
well its negative temps for like a week if they blow 24/7 they might have enoguh snow to have there full park up pretty quick. i hope.
 
i was there a few days ago and the t-bar rail thing looked like it was buried so theres probly enough snow to start settin up
 
Man this morning was so fun there. They have lots of snow now so its just a matter of them grooming and setting shit up.
 
aiight aiight here goes...i work there so its one down from official. the set time for full opening of the park (temp. granted) is in less than 3 weeks. theres is supposed to be a Source rail jam this saturday so the top rail park WILL be open, maybe earlier than that. they're blowing snow 24/7 right now and everything kinda sucks cuz of it. shit should be good in a couple weeks.

i'll leave another update when i know more
 
yooo no prob ben/j-bo haha. worked tonight again, the park will take a solid two weeks of blowing to get finished so granted it does stay cold and they do keep blowing it will be up before christmas break for sure. and before that happens there will be a better rail park
 
kk NEW UPDATE again hahaha. i have new word that if these temps keep up so they can keep blowing the park will be open December 8th!! and bout the source railjam...i have no clue if its skiing and boarding but im gonna say just as a guess theres no skiing...could be wrong, i'll find out tomorrow what they're gonna have and if us two-plankers can KICK IT
 
TOP PARK GETRTING PUT IN FRIDAY NIGHT!! MOST LIKELY WILL BE RIADEABLE SATURSAY....CAN'T PUT AN EXACT DATE ON THE FULL PARK...I'VE BEEN TOLD 2 WEEKS AND ON THE 8TH...SO SOMEWHERE BETWEEN THERE
 
Aright i guess no one has posted this yet so.. they now have a small top park up with the multi-level box thing and another down rail/box along with a slightly bigger jump.
 
yea, top parks open...not great now cuz of snow blowing still...main park will not be open for at least a week, but when it does open the layout (super secret!!) is lookin dope, gonna be flowy and smooth. its gonna be worth the wait...and the pipe is gonna be ILLIN
 
fuck ben, because you fuckin swore at me im not gonna tell you the fuckin plans...plus i don't know if they're for sure plans yet, it was just wades drawing, we'll see what happens plus im talkign to wade tomorrow at work. its gonna be way doper this year all round for set up, layout, and maintenance

i was there last night and they had a cat in the pipe werking on it so i dunno how much longer,looks like everything could be done middle of next week but im not sure, i heard it was supposed to open saturday but unless that work around the clock i dont think it will happen
 
it was supposed to open saturday...but i think they're gonna keep blowing snow to make everything solid but everythings looking more than ready to start cutting and shaping. shoulnd't be muich longer
 
my coach told me that cop told him its opening probably on the 23rd cause they dont want to rush it, but if we are lucky wednesday
 
i want it to open tuesday, cause my last final is at 8am so i was gooona hit up cop after that, but w/e, the sooner the better though
 
i get off school on the 22nd but im riding 21st, i hope the park will be open. i was there yesterday and they were blowing snow like mad, the cats where going all day on the pipe too

its official, the entire park, pipe, tables, and rails is open and ready to ride on december 23, 2005!

get your balls, get your gloves, get everything you need to fuckin kill it this season cuz its gonna be huge, insane and SICK!!!!

and on an even better note wade/mike are strappin down on the park crew making them maintain and fix everything every day non-stop so nothing will go to gay shit
 
ok good but if i get there and find out its really not open again i might do something really stupid like drive into the building
 
well, good temp park or not, the main park (or the majority of it anyways) is being opened on friday the 23rd.

i found out tonight though, that because they took the time and insane effort to finish the pipe to perfection the big tables won't be open on friday though i saw the kiddie killer/rail line and they all look fairly large for the "smaller" jumps at cop and the rails all look mint!

stop bitching about how bad things are, just ride them and have fun...good things will come and gnarly shit will go down
 
no seriously you should just shut the fuck up. If you thought that was good you should quit skiing now because you can't do shit all in that park. There was one decent down box at the top but the jump wasnt big enough to let you do anything onto it anyways but nose/tail presses. CANYONS park is better than COPs temp park! Fortunatly the real park should be sick so Im stoked to go hit it later
 
park was pretty sick today, i just dunno how the could possible fuck up the second big any more than they did, they made a chaos sized kicker for it and put it about 20 feet from the landing whcih was super gay cause u only have to go like walking spped to land in the swwet spot, so i hope they move it back like 20 feet to make it a nice even flow and a sick table
 
overall the park at cop is rather sweet. rails are set up decently and placed nicely, jumps (minding the second table) are great, and the half pipe is HUGE.
