Coon hounds

does any one have a coon hound and hunt with it?? i just got one and i want to know how to train it any body have some hints or any thing?

Dont expect any serious responses to this thread after my post. Theres a .1% chance that anyone else coon hunts here. I trap and hunt them but dont have a dog.

I have a Plott Hound. My Dad goes bear-hunting with her. I don't know who trained her, but she's really nice.

i assume you are talking about raccoons, but why the hell would anyone want to hunt a raccoon

To sell the fur, duh. Coon fur is like $5-10 bucks. Plus coon is pretty delicious to eat, just not many people do it anymore.

I cant have a conversation about coonhounds? I love them, they make great dogs if you can get some obedience training in them.
