Cool video: Using Canon 1DX's 14fps to shoot video

I was wondering what it would look like if you did this, so I Googled it and found out. I'm sure some of you have seen this before, but pretty cool nonetheless

Cool video, absolutely worthless feature though. $7k can almost buy you a 4k camera these days... not to mention snapping off 20,000 frames(14 minutes of video, which is a laughable amount) on your 1dx every day is going to fry your sensor in a week. not to also mention you'd be recording sound for 100% of your shots, i digress.

Obviously no one would actually do this but you get my point, these videos are cool but its something that will never actually be used.

I prefer the 7-8 frame videos like this people have made with 7ds/5ds that make it super jumpy, 14fps is at the point where its almost clear but choppy enough to make me want to kill babies.

I always thought i'd be cool to see a dslr camera shoot 24fps at full Ljpeg but then I realized thats what a red does but its raw frames, it shoots longer than a 60 frame buffer and shoots up to 300fps for what, 4 times the price of a high end dslr? Again, I digress, i just think these videos are stupid and everyone get so fucking stoked on it when its the most impractical thing ever.

I mean fuck, the BMCC 4K camera costs 1/2 as much as a 1dx... sorry im done.

Yo mad bro? the 1Dx might be the best digital 35mm workhorse camera (Phrased so thomas doesnt say Leica) ever. Obviously this video just shows how fast that burst plays out and isn't really practical (like you said), and people that buy the 1Dx buy it for its (amazing) photo capabilities and the video is usually an afterthought.
