I really wish I knew more about my history but on my dads side one of his ancestors was a famous highwayman in the 1800's and waayy back when my family fought in the crusades but then again who didnt? also they probably burned witches too.

on my mums side her ancestors settled and founded a few townships and counties in northern ontario

 
my great grandpa was head train conductor of buffalo, NY back in the steel business days, and i got a town named after my last name in England
 
i am related to Ulysses S Grant from my moms side.

my grandfathers sister (on my dads side) was married to Herman Coors, son of Adolph Coors, founder of Coors light Corporation. my grandparents still get flown out every year to the Coors stadium in Colorado to watch games in the VIP room.

my grandfather would tell me stories about Coors trucks would drive up to minnesota all the time on their way to new york and drop off pallets of pallets of coors light on main street in front of our store. he said he has pictures somewhere.

hmmmm... let's see. My uncle's name is Doc Holliday.... that's a pretty badass name. his son plays for the florida gators.

my great great grandfather was the president of the NY Port Authority. He came up with the idea of the white line on the right side of the road. He was also a nominee for president, but didnt get the party nomination.
 
I'll claim another one or two. I am apparently distantly related to Winston Churchhill but probably not or very distantly. And my mom was a national champion 4 times in college and a few times on her own at this thing

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky took me out to go get a drink with him?

We go off looking for a bar and we can't find one.

Finally Brasky takes me to a vacant lot and says, 'Here we are.'

We sat there for a year and a half — until sure enough, someone constructs a bar around us.

Well, the day they opened we ordered a shot, drank it, and then burned the place to the ground.

Brasky yelled over the roar of the flames, 'Always leave things the way you found 'em!

 
my great grandpa helped build the first chair lift here and then was in charge of all the electricity for it.
 
My grandpa was a russian living in germany and was forced to fight for germany, but he escaped. I know its a gnarly story but i dont know much about it. It involves hiding in the coal in coal trains and hiding under a hospital bed for weeks being fed by the person on the bed.

My uncle's name is Kevin Connolly. He plays "E" on entourage and he was also in a few other movies like that movie John Q with Denzel. he's a sweet dude
 
My dad has looked back before about us, and it's weird. There is a lot of information all the way up to a certain point, then it just disappears. So my dad always says we must have been pirates.
 
my cousin dated irl racer dan wheldon, a retired bears d- lineman married some one in my extended family, another girl in my extended family married a defensive end from iowa u, and my cousins friends' little brother went to lebrons james's sons like 3rd or 4rt b-day party.....
