Lately I've had time to cook and it's been really great thing, this morning I made a souffle omelette(almost failed miserably) but I was thinking I can't be the only one. Anyone had some fun culinary adventures? Anyone wanna drop some bomb recipes?

Soufelle omelette?

You been watching Food Wars or something?

Haha, Nah it came up on my insta a while back and it looked easy. Basically just separating egg white and stiffening it and folding the yolk in after, hella good.

I made Lamb Tikka Masala last night. I'm fairly new to Indian cuisine but it turned out really good for my first attempt

Bagels are something I want to try.

A bagel shop just opened in my town but there so stupidly expensive making my own would be so much better. Have you found a recipe that works good?

These were pretty easy when you get all the stuff. Turned out taste asf. Make sure to do 85g or more balls of dough, otherwise they turn out a bit small

Hmm some of my favorite things Southwest Fusion things I cooked this year:

Xinjiang Dapanji (hand pulled the noodles)

Crockpot is where it’s at. Put all the shit in at let it cook while you go ski.

two of my favorite recipes.

Shredded chicken. You can do a bunch stuff with this later. Add to salad, tacos, make pulled bbq chicken sandwich, ect.

3lbs chicken breast

1 cup chicken broth

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

Mix seasonings and rub chicken. Add broth in pot with chicken.

6-8 hours low ( I noticed it depends on altitude. +7000ft longer)

shred with fork and server. Freeze if lots of extras.

Beef roast with vegetables

2.5-3 lbs beef chuck roast bone removed. I get 80/20 for meat to marbleing (fat) ratio.

1 lbs bag on baby cut carrots

1-1.5 lbs potatoes. Cube

1 lbs onions. Cut into 1/4s

1 packet of onion soup mix

Put meat in pot. I add 1/4 onion mix and rub meat. Layer carrots, potatoes, onions on top. After its full add the rest of mix.

turn crockpot to high for 8 hours. Check to see if roast falls apart. You need a large crockpot for this recipe.

I'm an absolute slut for kalbi short ribs or bulgolgi. Super easy marinade to make, just sesame oil, soy sauce, white onion, green onion, garlic, rice wine, some pear or apple, brown sugar and maybe a few other things I'm forgetting.

Grill that shit up, boil/reduce the marinade, thicken with cornstarch. Serve over veggies and rice and coat with the sauce. Shit is SO bomb and perfect leftover also because it's easy to make a ton

How to make an absolutely banging sandwich

Take some bread, not anything specific, just some good quality sliced bread

take some ham, preferably thick cut and cook it separately but deli sliced is cool too if you make it like a grilled cheez

put fig jam on one slice of the bread, then put your ham on top

layer with pickled Jalps

put some cheez on, however much you want, but Swiss or Colby jack is usually my go to

get a pan with cooking oil ready, and toast that bitch like you would any grilled cheez

Voila, there you have it, one of the best sandwiches you can make
