Convincing a mtn to put a park back where it belongs

Not gonna call out the mtn cause everyone that actually works parks there is chill af. Upper mgmnt at my home resort wants to keep the medium park under the main lift. It's cool for the stoke but the only way it can be set up is steep, short and in a straight line. Used to be twice as long and you barely had to make turns. You also got the lower big park in the lap as a bonus. I can't speak for everyone but most people I've talked to liked it the way it was before, and barely anyone skis that trail as it is now so it's not like it's everyone's favorite intermediate trail.
 
claim on their social media pages that upper management called someone the N-word. They'll get cancelled and you'll get your park back!

thought this was gonna be about Jackson.... shame with that much skiable acreage they can't give us a regular trail

It’s been sick at times, but the past few years it’s been relegated to a VERY small medium park.

the park crew does great w the space provided but it’s such a flat trail speed is tough sometimes even w pretty small jumps. The stash parks are dope and they’ve got tons of sick features, they’re just not given a good enough trail IMO

True that sucks. I've only been there 14/15 season. Jumps weren't huge but nice and they had some big hips a tpilet bowl at one point. The stash has some of the best features of any stash I've been to. The pipe was interesting at times.

that was the last time they had decent jumps, they discontinued that park under the gondi after 15/16. ski school (aka the most lucrative profit center the village has at $800 a day for privates) wanted more "beginning/intermediate terrain."

half pipe has since been axed as well but the earth works have made for some solid natty hits. supposedly new big park terrain is in the 5-10 year capital plan but keeps getting pushed back especially w COVID
