Converting full tilt first chair into a freestyle boot?

hey guys i was wondering if it was a good idea to convert the full tilt first chair into a freestyle boot. Simply by adding the active foot board and buying new flex tonges. I choose to convert the first chair boot rather than the full tilt classic because it already has the pro liner and because the design is sick. Whats your guys ideas and i need to say i dont like the desgin of the full tilt hot dogger so dont suggest me to get that

why do u say no. idk i kinda makes sense to me because full tilt uses the same modles for every model except for the new 2011 booter and high five. The only thing they change is the foot board, flex tounges and the liner

well i think that buying new tongues could help and that way you could have the stiff flex when you need it.

Umm yeah it's no problem at all, dunno why you'd make a thread about it, the tongue comes off fairly easily and the boot board just slides out if you put it upside down without a liner.

I just say no because making an amazing boot a freestyle boot doesn't make sense to my little brain...

But yeah, tongue is probably it.

First, the Classic does have the pro liner also, second, having extra tongues is always nice having a #8 when you want to charge and a #4 for park seems like a good idea to me... as far as the boot board goes, it's not necessary, I like the rigid boot board in my booters in the park, you have a better feel of the snow.

1st: dont be a pussy and ride them as is in the park

2nd: gain some weight so you can flex them if you can't already

That's all FT does with the models anyway- change liner, boot board, tongue, buckle (same for most every boot company really). Which is a plus for many people since you can customize the boot to your liking.

The Pro liner on the Classic is not as firm as the Pro liner on the Classic/Seth, which is way firmer and adds to the stiffness of the boot.

My shop was kinda a noob when it came to full tilts so i bought classic (the cheapest fulltilt they had) and they just gave me the active foot board for free. Also the classic also has a pro liner. The 6 flex is actually fine in the park and good for skiing all mountain. I'd say just do that because you'll spend a lot less money.

Also does anyone know why the 2011 classic is less then the 2010 on evo? http://www.evogear.com/shop/full-tilt.aspx?utm_source=Full%20Tilt&utm_medium=vendor&utm_campaign=AFC-Full%20Tilt
