Contour roam or gopro hd hero

so im going to spend some 4 weeks in avoriaz, france and was thinking of getting a helmet cam..my budget isn't huge so it's either the roam or the hd hero 1...

what should i get?
 
haven't heard much about the roam...but i have the original gopro and my buddy has the contour regular i think (don't know how different from the roam or whatever) and he says that he wishes he had the features the gopro has. im a huge fan of gopro and always recommend that over all the other pov's right now. but you can change between all settings on the fly, its easy to use with gloves on, can mount it anywhere (i prefer the chest mount in pow) and it comes already in a water proof case, and its pretty much indestructible. best investment ive made in the last year and a half for sure. go big and gopro!
 
I own the contour. It's a pretty sick camera. Easy to use. Streamline design that isn't too bulky on your helmet. Easily detachable for non-pov shooting. Affordable. Solid video quality.
