Contour camera mounts breaking/snapping

has anyone else had issues with their contour camera mounts breaking and snapping. this is the 2nd time mine has broken. luckily i had the tether attached and it just dangled off my head.

hasnt happened to me, email them and tell them, they have great customer service.

speaking of which, they fkd up my gps, so i sent it back and got a contour + free.

love them for everyday riding. soft and playful, yet poppy and still charge decent.

you just dropped a cliff... sometimes plastic gets brittle and can break in the cold when you do that.

are you using the profile mount or the rotating flat surface? I used the rotating flat surface during my trip to utah, and it worked great. I even fell headfirst into a tree well going pretty fast, and the mount still held up.

the little center piece on one side of mine is mostly broken... hasnt snapped yet, not too confident in it though.

rotating surface. i've had another one entirely break off. the circle inner part snapped right out of the housing.

in this video one of the rails on the mount broke off

I'm pretty sure that if you email them, they'll send you a new one for free.

I just lost my first one ever, tomahawking at Cold Rush, snapped right off.

smashed into trees many times with mine and its holding out. knock on wood.
