Contour better than gopro? +k for response

I was wondering if contours are really better than gopros? I've own gopro now but just sick of the hassle of just turning it on. So I was wondering how contour stacks against gopro in easiness and just picture quality.

I personally like gopros because of how verisatle they are. There are way more mounting options for gopro compared to countour. Also, if you are annoyed with the menu system on the gopro, just buy the wifi bacpac + remote bacpac kit for $99. here is the link:

In tahoe last year my friend had a contour on his helmet and i used go pro on chesty. When comparing the videos from the two I thought picture quality was similar resolution-wise, but contour seemed shakier even tho it was on a helmet mount

why not turn the "One button" mode on your gopro? Makes it pretty easy and idiot-proof.

Turning on my gopro is not the only reason I'm wondering how contour stacks up against gopro but ya I could do that
