Content vs. No Content = Testicles vs. No Testicles

Just wanted to take a moment to vent. It pisses me off when I pull up someone's profile, they have been on NS for years and the don't have one pic or video. Grow a pair people. Throw something up there so you aren't just a recycled icon. Good, bad or mediocre content is better than nothing. I'm getting pretty close to the point where I am going to automatically rate people 0/10 if they don't have any content on their profiles. /rant.

Making content on Newschoolers is the new hot shit.

I support this completely. NS is a global community. People want to kind of get to know the other people in the community. Let's face it, we are all visual. It's nice to see what other people are doing. I just get so pissed at some of these people who post nothing about themselves, but surf around fragging everyone else's contribs. It's kind of like walking through a cool neighborhood and having someone anonymously throw dogshit at you from a dark ally. It adds 0 value to the site IMO.

And hey, if you can't create content... SHARE the content you are consuming! There's so much of it out there, and NS is a great platform to curate it all.

I think there's also a huge amount of value in actually giving all this awesome ski content around the world a home, and a chance for some exposure. In the old model it all just went to die, or was fragmented across a million other places. We want to give content creators a chance at actually going somewhere with it.

That is a huge part of the transition of Newschoolers, to really foster a super solid and successful content community.
