Constantly being called a snowboarder

Whenever I'm walking around with my gear on and without my skis, people always suspect I'm a snowboarder. As well as if I'm just walking around without all my gear and I tell someone who doesn't really know me that I'm heading to the mountains soon, they'll just decide that I snowboard. "Oh! I knew you were a snowboarder!" and "You ski? No, you look more like a snowboarder". Does this happen to you guys a lot as well or is it just me?

Being the only 20-something in my shop, people just assume I'm the snowboarder. Wrong, it's that 50 year old over there who hardboots a 195 board and vaporizes all jerry's in his path.

But seriously, I get people who walk in, look around, then come straight to me to talk about edge angles and binding positions on their boards. Dude... I can't tune your dumbass Battaleon, the base is broken but I guess it came that way for reasons unknown to humanity. You get 5 inches of structure, no more.

Even my grandma who follows me on instagram and sees all them dirty clips still asks me if I am snowboarding sometimes
