Hey guys,
I'm going to take a 6-mo. break after graduating from college this month and am thinking about moving to Mammoth Lakes and ski bumming it for a little. I'm planning to start work in June so I'd need to find a sublease or month-to-month in order to make this happen.
1. What's my best bet for housing? Should I look in Mammoth Lakes or maybe out in Crowley for lower cost? Any leasing companies I should contact?
2. Jobs. Worst case scenario I'm sure I could work at the mountain, but I've heard mixed reviews on that and would prefer a night job or one that will just maximize my days on the hill.
3. Is anyone on here looking for a roommate until June/have a room I can sublet?
4. If any of you have done something similar, are there other places I should look into? I spent much of high school skiing Mammoth and am just looking to live it up before I become a desk jockey in June. I am open to anything honestly.
