Connecticut skiers and riders

What’s your guys favorite spot to ski at in CT? These only a couple to choose from and just want to see people’s opinions. Personally mine in Mount Southington

Backcountry in CT. Dont beleive it.

depends 100% on the snow year, this is the "couloir" i mentioned, with a nice snow field below it. Went one year, scratched the shit out of my skis and tore my skins. So far, theres only been one year where i could actually ski it and enjoy it. Also its barely 200 feet of vertical......

Mt Southington is mine too seeing as I grew up a 1/8th of a mile from it. Lately, with the new management and stoke on park skiing (there wasn't when I was young), it looks rad! Ski Sundown has always had one of the best vibes and parks. Biggest jump I've ever hit was at Sundown .. it was like 90 ft with a 13 ft takeoff in the SAS Films "Wicked" filming days .. so classic.

finally moved up to vt this year but for the last few years southington was my go to. there park game keeps getting cleaner and cleaner every year. really cool to see a small hill develop like that!

I go to school in Hartford... but I avoid skiing in CT like the plague. Might make a night trip or two up to Sundown though.

I went to mount southington during the weekdays in highschool and I found it sick that they had park passes. Probably costed 10 bucks or so

They got rid of park passes last year, so it’s free. Kinda sucks because now all the trash kids go in there and ruin all the jumps for rails and shit

Grew up in west Hartford. Absolutely ate shit on the biggest kicker at ski sundown back when I was a massive gaper and had confidence from doing smaller jumps. Bystanders said I went 50 to flat. Landed flat on my back, surprised I made it out uninjured
