Connecticut School Shooting - How you can help.

Of course it's good to donate to charities, especially if you have some money hanging around and you don't know what to do with it.

I find that a situation like this shooting, though, is a completely inappropriate time to bring up the subject of donating money to charities. Money won't ever replace lost ones, and I doubt that the poor victims who got wounded will need donations in order to receive proper medical care. Vibes to families and friends of victims.

+k to OP anyway

Meh....I wouldn't go so far as to say starting charity funds for the victims would be inappropriate. It's kinda like right church wrong pew thing. Starting the fund is all in good intentions, but it is too early. But who am I say how to handle a situation like this.....can't even imagine what the parents are going through

id rather donate my money to something else i shouldn't give you money because your kid died as sad as it is. give it to a 3rd world country or sandy.

I am 30 minutes away from where this happened crazy stuff. But I agree with the others, this isn't the time to donate. I don't know, weird world we live in.
