actually this regionals dead. theres a whole nother site for southern skiers and its extremely active.

most skiers here are gapers but ive seen kids in the south and their skills are just as good if not better than kids out in the big ski states. we show dedication in skiing on probably some of the worst snow on the planet

if you ever actually go TO mexico it's a million times worse. for every 1 guy that's working at a construction site, there are 5 guys sleeping in wheel barrows or smoking/drinking out in front of the job site...the more hardworking ones tend to come to the US
