I was channel surfing tonight and came across a news report of a concert Katy Perry did early this morning at a Colorado high school. The concert was for a winning Lip Dub video. A clip was shown and I realized it was the awesome video that Gavin Rudy filmed!

So congrats Gavin!

Thanks dude! It has certainly been the journey. We were way stoked to have won the contest and we had a concert from Katy Perry yesterday morning at 4am. Overall it's been great but I am not really one for media attention and publicity so I'm glad that everything is wrapping up. I was happy to have been able to film the video and edit it and I was stoked that the video itself was awesome, so winning the contest and getting the publicity was cool but not as exciting to me as the video itself.

It was a contest sponsored and aired live on Good Morning America, which airs at 6am on the east coast, which is 4am where we go to school. So yeah. Concert ended around 7am and then we went to classes. I was really tired.
