Congratulations to Matt Hayward of Red Deer Ski Area for winning the World Superpipe Championship Qualifier at Boreal Mountain Resort, Donner Summit, CA on Saturday, Feb. 12.

Direct quote from the WSC guy:

“The standout was the kid who won ski division (Matt Hayward),” said Don Bostic, World Superpipe Championship Competition Director. “He’s definitely world-class. “It’s going to be stiff competition, but could do really well in the finals at Park City,” he added. Professional skiers Tanner Hall and Pep Fujas are registered for the Park City event in March.

thanks guys.... im really excited to go to the wsc.... im also really nervous though..... if you guys get a chance maybe throw a few 5 or 6 hit run plans at me.... ive been going over some but i would like to hear from everyone.
 
what types of tricks do you usually throw? you should definately throw a huge spin for first hit as not many people do
 
That sounds good..... I was thinking rs flare, cork 9, rs cork 9, cork 10, cab rodeo 5 or 7.... or i could switch the cork 10 with rs ally oop flat 5 to rs down pipe flat 5.... i dunno.... still need more ideas
 
id say big flat 5 down the pipe, cork 7, right cab rodeo 7, cork 10, cab 5 down the pipe...5 solid fuckin tricks, throw in some dope grabs, keep the amp. above 6 feet on every hit for sure and i think youd do fuckin fine
 
hmmm alright...so say go right 5 or 9 first hit, into opposite 9 second hit...alley-oop flat 5 third...left 7...cab cork 10...that sounds a little more to your likings eh?
 
Those sound good...... cab cork 10 though haha i dont think i can do that..... this is what my coach was thinking.... rs down pipe flat 5, cork 9, rs cork 9, cork 12..... yah?
 
id say down pipe flat 5, back to back 9's, something to switch...maybe a huge ass 3...or 7...into a nice cab 9 or something would do it...

hit that up for a first run maybe...then throw down the 12 2nd run to keep it hella solid
 
alley opp flat 5, both way 9s, maybe a 10 or 5 into something swith, like that one guys run at x games, the guy riding scotts, laurent i think? he had one of the coolest runs i hgave ever seen!~
 
all of this makes me realise how little pipe Ive done this year. Ive skiied it like 3 days all season

no matt i have one last run plan for u..........back flip daffy twister spread.....switch front cossak.....back full switch front full into back double full stomp ski claim yahhhh......or go with 2s run but do a hit after ur 12

but yeah, big allyoop or strait air double nose, to allyoop 9, flat 5, cork 7 tail, switch 7 or 9.
