Confidence

I find it can be hard for me to progress due to my confidence when trying to do tricks, especially new ones. I'm often worried about crashing and shit, so how do I overcome it? Kinda a basic question but nothing has really clicked yet.

try crack cocaine i promise you wont notice anyone watching

or go skiing with a few good friends if you are too cool for cocaine

I think warming up can be great. Hit smaller features or try smaller tricks. Stomp the fuck out of it and then ride that energy. Crank some 90s early 2k hip hop in your ears and send 'er.

Some people have less fear. You can't really do much about that but muscle memory and feeling comfortable on your skis can help overcome that.

All I’m gonna say is that once you land that one trick or do that one thing you realize “ok now I’m feeling really good and comfortable”. For me that’s usually when a bunch of people are in the park for hype. After that I just start landing stuff good.

liquid courage baby, bring a flask of fireball with you. once you stomp whatever youre trying once, it comes easy af

I completely agree with this one. it mostly comes down to literally just trying it. but once you get comfortable with spins, flips and slides and such, from then on its going to feel a lot easier to progress. I noticed this myself when i fist started hitting bigger jumps and honestly just trying new things. Good luck!!

before I try something new I usually visualize what it will look like when I land it right before I drop and honestly it helps a lot with landing stuff or at least getting close. I think it just helps you focus on the outcome you want and not focus on crashing or under or over rotating
