Concussion - return?

So back in November on my third day of the season, I hit a stand of trees and broke my wrist and hit my head. I was unconscious for a couple of minutes, and don't remember the incident. MRI showed a subdural hematoma, which will heal but increases my risk of more permanent damage. My neurologist told me I should quit skiing. I can't do that, so I was thinking of filming in the future.

I hate sitting in my room seeing snow pile up and being unable to enjoy it fully. Want to try to return next season, but I dunno how smart that is.

Anyone else have a similar injury?

Sorry to hear about your injury, not so nice! Hope you're starting to feel better.

I concussed myself last week but I currently have no idea how long to leave it before skiing. My injury wasn't quite as serious as yours as far as I can tell…but the doctor told me to wait 2 weeks after symptoms have disappeared before skiing. How have you found your concussion so far? Any idea when you can ski again (if not already?)?

Would be cool to hear, I'd like to know how other skiers have got on with concussions.
