Computer people please help me with this

So my hard drive failed a few weeks ago. I recently purchased a new one, reinstalled the OS, and it seems to be working fine, except for one thing. My laptop won't connect to the internet. It won't sense the WIFI and it won't even get a connection from an ethernet cable. I tried reinstalling the drivers and it didn't do shit. Please help me with this, thanks.

Did you try turning off, and back on again?

It's possible the OS isn't recognizing the wifi reader. if you plug it in to an ethernet cable does it work? I dont have a real solution just trying to help trubleshoot.

Sorry I re read the OP. It sounds like the part of windows 7 that recognizes the internet didn't install properly. Try reinstalling windows and if that don't work take it to a professional.

I need to know these things.

1) what is the brand/model of your computer.

once you know that, go to google and look up "Drivers for (insert computer model here)"

and you're going to need to use a different computer WITH an internet connectionyou also need a flash drive.

when you have the raw driver installer file, you open it on the computer missing the drivers.

its also recommended you re-install all the drivers for your model computer
