I've ran into a problem. I tried to turn my laptop on today, and it took a while to get to the login screen. When it finally popped up I typed in my password and after about 3 minutes of the "Welcome" screen it went to a black screen. I can move my cursor around and sometimes it has that little circle loading sign next to the cursor, but besides that its just black. I've tried restoring it and it didnt work, also tried using my backup CD's and it didnt work. I can however start it in safemode and see the screen. It's been running fine up to this day, and I also havn't been on it in about a week due to school. I suck at computers so help me out and keep things simple and easy to understand!

try this:1) UNPLUG THE LAPTOP

2) REMOVE THE BATTERY

3) HOLD DOWN THE POWER BUTTON FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS TO 2 MINUTES

4) THEN PUT THE BATTERY BACK IN

5) START IT UP..
 
im a computer nerd but im not sure what the problem is op. id sugguest asking on a website dedicated to computer help. try the tomshardware forums. as a very last result you could reinstall your operating system.
