Coming to Boston

Hey everybody,

Im moving out to boston this week from utah for the summer, wondering what the ski scene is like through the summer here? anything going down? urban, rail jams, etc. I guess they are putting us up in framingham, and we will be all over maine vermont new hampshire conneticut rhode island and mass. biking is dope as well if anybody knows of anything going on. thanks everybody!

Whaleback in NH has some summer sessioning, you could go to liberty in viginia, other than that, your have to build your own, all the ski shops close for the summer and everyone pretty much forgets that they use to ski, its a sad sad thing

Yeah.. it sucks here right now. Or in the summer it definitely does. Like the post above me said, Whaleback has a summer setup, but that's probably 2+ hours away from Boston.

You'll probably have better luck with biking here during the summer.

skiing is basically dead. unless you are interested in Tuckerman's. but now's the time to go.

depending on when you get here, you could ski tuckerman, which is usually good through early june

as far as biking goes vietnam in milford mass is pretty cool ive heard. skiing.... good luck with that

if by biking you mean BMX, then you are one lucky sonofabitch. Boston is an amazing city to ride and if you somehow get bored, you can just hop on the commuter rail and go to providence.
