Coming off Rails

Aight guys heres the deal i started hittin rails at the end of last year, i can hit most stuff but one thing i can do is come off a rail straight I end up always coming off switch(which is fine). But i have no idea why but when i try and get off of a rail straight i either eat shit or it looks ugly.

Any help appreaciated!!

i had the EXACT same problem as you after i started

the reason your only landing switch is cuz your continuing the revolution you started at teh beginning of the rail, what you need to do is learn to hop on the rail, and use the rail as you new orientation for rotation, then its just a 90 and your stright again...this takes some times tho

 
your not locking on to the rail, you jump on it by turning 90 and since you dont lock on you just kinda slide across it and your body keeps spinning to the side that you jumped on from, get lower to the rail and try to keep your chest and head facing the end of the rail
