Combining Mine and My Friends Itunes To New Computer! help..

Hey, two quick questions. been searching around ns and didnt find any threads similar to this.

I've been promised a Macbook Pro for graduation. My goal has been to combine my itunes library with some of my friends and put them all on the new computer. First, has anyone else done this? any tips? i have a two hard drives to move the music with

Also, once i get multiple libraries onto the computer I'll need a program to sort multiples, and choose the song at its best quality. I have used a program posted on NS for this, but have forgotten what it was. im willing to pay for this kind of program if necessary.

transferring libraries is only a matter of copying your current itunes folder to the external hard drive and then putting it on the new computer, then importing the library to itunes. just do that for yours and your friends.

as far as the multiples thing goes. i don't know of anything but im sure you could google that
 
great, yeah transferring the files shouldn't be a problem. i just don't know how to phrase a search for what I'm looking for
