Colorado University at Colorado Springs

I just got excepted to this school and know nothing about it. Im from out of state and my number one choice is CU at Boulder but UCCS is half the cost. Whats the deal with this school? Whats Colorado Springs like and how far away from skiing. I know that people are really right wing and less chill at USSC and there are less parties. Is it a good school and worth going to, or is it worth the extra 15k a year to go to Boulder?
 
number 1: use proper grammar. It's "accepted" not "excepted."

number 2: CU boulder is definitely worth it. And yes I would know, because i'm currently a junior at CU.
 
Have you visited the campus at Colorado Springs? The people in the town are not reflective of the students AT ALL.
 
if i get in to colorado college than i will go there, the springs isnt that bad its like maybe 30 minutes more to get to breck n stuff. cu and du are equally far from the slopes no matter what people say about cu being where its at for skiing so cu at denver would be good too if they cut u a deal
