Colorado State University people

Yooooo so I'm going to Colorado state next year and I'm just trying to find other NSers who either go there already or are going there next year. I'm going to be getting the epic pass and will have a vehicle to drive to the mountain hit me up homies

You should have luck in regionals with this one, and it's not tough to find people to shred with in Colorado. Have fun!

Yo I was wondering about taking a car there for skiing. I'm from the east tho and don't know how I'd keep it living in a dorm. What's ur set up with that?

You can buy a parking pass if you want to park it on campus, or park it far away from campus on one of the streets with free parking.

Yeah I've been talking to my parents who have both never lived outside New Jersey and they refuse to believe freshmen can take their cars to college anywhere in the country. I saved up and bought myself a subie a few months ago and want to drive it out to school next summer but I need to figure out my situation with it

I have never understood not allowing freshman to have cars...how the hell do you get around. Just drop your kid off in some distant city and tell him good luck hahahaga

Yeah exactly, my parents were just like "I'm sure everyone just takes busses and shuttles, you don't leave the campus anyway, having a car is just a burden when you're living on campus." Like not when u wanna ski, bike, hike, and camp every week haha

If you have a car, definitely bring it. I don't have a car out here and it doesn't matter at all for day to day stuff since Fort Collins is super flat and bike-friendly, but getting to the mountains sucks. I spent pretty much my whole freshman year networking to find people with cars who wanted to ski, and even then it's still annoying. On-campus parking is expensive, but most of my buddies freshman year just parked their cars a ways away from campus and just biked for stuff around town, and then when you move off campus it's a lot easier.
