Colorado Springs

Sup guys, tried out the search bar..results were thin so I came here.

I'm looking to move out to Colorado Springs next fall and I'd love to hear some things that might not be obvious about the town. I'm not positive on if I'll be attending UCCS or the community college or neither. Looking for a cheap apartment or possibly even a roommate. Sounds like a great city! Thanks +k for those helpful souls

My girlfriend has family just outside the springs so it made sense for us.

Moved to CO springs a few years ago, its a pretty great place IMO(don't ask any of the CO natives). 2hr drive to the mountains, but the good part is you can take the back way to breck and avoid the I70 shit show. The mountain biking is great here too if your into that, and I'd argue the access is far better than Denver, and at least as good(if not better depending where in the city you are) when compared to Boulder/Ft. Collins.
