then you obviously dont know what to do there. Pikes Peak is the shit to hike. There are tons of places to go fishing, tons of mtn. biking(palmer park, Air force base,etc.) My guess is that you judge towns on there party rankings? for that yeah the springs isnt the best, but if you like to get outdoors, its pretty hard to beat for a city its size.

be quiet jeffry, i judge based on things to do, and while there is a lot of outdoors stuff, there isn;t much else, and i worked during the day, so i need stuff to do in the evening. also i wasn't too happy about living so close to focus on the family, that place gives me the creeps. there's also way too many strip malls, and that's a fact. pikes peak also was kinda far from where i was, so not something i could do everyday. though i did do my share of biking.
