Im taking a ski trip to Colorado this December. I got the ikon pass and plan to be in the area for a week. What are the best mountains for skiing? Which ones have the best parks?

Best park Copper. Gonna be crowded unless it's early Dec. Aspen/Snowmass is great for everything if you have base plus pass.

Eldora’s park isn’t copper but it is a Woodward too so it’s not bad

From what I’ve heard, most of summit county’s best park groomers ended up at copper after #fuckvail took over Breck and Keystone. It’s pretty evident, copper fucks.

I've heard a lot of pros in the street scene tend to ride park at eldora and not copper because of the shorter drive and it's apparently way less crowded. They close parking once it fills up so it keeps the lines generally shorter. Also apparently Woodward Eldora is a fantastic park.
Can anyone vouch for this^, I'm not trying to pull up to copper and be surrounded by triple corking 13 year olds.

second copper for park skiing. def peep A-Basin (arapahoe basin), great vibe and some challenging inbound terrain

As everyone has mentioned Copper has the best park in Colorado. It’s a 25ish minute drive to A-basin as well if you want to ski big mountain terrain. The bowls of Copper are alright but you could probably explore them all in a day or two, and that’s if everything back there is open by December. I will say if you’re looking for a night life you might want to stay in Frisco (10 min from copper, 15 from A-basin) or grab some epic passes and stay in breck.
Aspen’s also super dope if you have the add on to your ikon pass but can get pretty $$$

And the jump line is like a wind tunnel for the wind seemly. Constant horrible headwind, all the time. Also they don't even have the small mountain chill vibe they advertise. Like the chicken tenders are like 20 dollars or more and the portions get smaller every year. Sorry to everyone that likes Eldora but its true. It's a bummer because it has the potential to be an amazing place. Maybe they will change their ways this season I hope. It is really close to my house but I still drive like 3 times as far every day and sit in traffic to ski Copper instead. Every day at Copper I have a great time and see like 100 people I know and have a great time. You should go just to copper, which is always such a good experience no matter the day or conditions.

I got too focused on parks, op and realized you didn’t just mean them. Check out a basin too. It’s a good time there for sure

Also as some other ppl have said, El Dora’s park in theory is good and it can be on a good day but it’s also fucked for the most part

Also side note, coppers all mountain skiing is also fuego as well

Surprised no mention of Steamboat here. Park is mid but tree skiing fucks when it dumps. Starting to get a bit more crowded now but still a huge mountain with lots of little stashes.

I took a trip to Colorado in January last year. Spent a few days at Copper and a few at A-Basin. Crashed at a buddy's place in Dillon. 10/10 would do again. I echo what everyone is saying. Copper's park is on par with Mammoth and the back bowls are fun classic Colorado bowls. The groomers were perfect the whole time too. I saw Shaun White in the halfpipe while we were there. Say what you want about the guy but he can throw down. A-Basin has some rowdy zones that can scare the shit outta you. The Steep Gullies are as steep as anything I've skied in Palisades, Kirkwood, or Mt. Rose. East Wall was closed but that's some proper big mountain terrain as well.
I can't speak to any of the other Ikon resorts, but you could have a great trip at those two places.
