So everyone knows Denver and the foothills got over 2 feet of snow. None of the ski resorts got any on I 70, except winter park got 21 INCHES!!!! Thing is, one of my friends who has my skiis who is going up with me is in boulder. The road from boulder is closed. Going to WP requires berthoud pass, which is closed. So, here it is 6 in the morning and all this great snow with now way to get there.
 
I feel the pain, Stuck in C. Springs right now wishing I could hit WP. Especially since they just opened parsenn bowl and backside vasquez. Damn the roads! I am going up over xmas to stay with my wife's family, hoping it won't be too tracked out by then... Or I can make it.
 
fuck man im stuck at my house the plan was to leave early to go to wp, just shoveld 3ft of snow and burthod is still closed
 
plows cant get through road blocks. The only way to get to Winter Park is from the North, so unless you are in Fraiser/Grandby or Steamboat there is no way to get there. I want to go to Keystone, but the highway from Boulder is also barricaded and closed off.
 
yeah well you fuckers can at least pack down some snow for urban rails. I have seen 2 inches of snow all year and it melted like that day!
 
you cant like shovel some out and pack it down? I would image with a little effort you could make a sick urban video today
 
yup lucky bastards... we fucking got ice rink snow a month or two ago just to ride a rail for an hour, still havent got a dusting of snow yet and our local hill has about 5 trails up...saweeet
 
dont worry no one can get to the hills the snow will be epic for days to come, just go and fuck around in the town or something couldnt get better
 
Yeah there are. State snowplows were getting stuck in 5 foot drfts. They just shut everything down.
 
are you fucking kidding me. URBANS!!!!!!!!! That much snow means you'll need no kickers for anything. just walk up to a raill, pack down what's there, shovel the stairs, and rip. And i bet with that much snow the PO has more problems to worry about. Get some.

and NOBODY was on the mountain. fucking right people. fucking right.
 
Yea we just made a road gap at my friends house. Only problem is its 35-40 feet and we can only get speed for 30-35. Landing on concrete=suckage. Hopefully its faster tomorrow.
 
oh man believe me i am right behind you. BUT MY FUCKING CAMERA ISNT HERE YET BECAUSE FED EX CANT GET IT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuck i am about to pull my hair out. i buy a camera and it cant get here for the biggest storm of the year because the fed ex truck cant get thru the snow. fuck i want my gl1.
