Colorado has Epic Closing Powder Day

Who would have guessed the biggest powder day was the last day of the season (for many resorts)... Let's hear it guys, where did you find the goods today?

I had to work at Eldora and we received well over 12", freshies all day and there were leftovers in the trees when we shut the lifts down for the season. :(

it snowed 6 inches at my home hill, and it "blizzarded" then hailed today, possibly last day at that place.

seems like everywhere got a dump today haha. skibowl was supposed to close today but then they got a nice little bit and are staying open another week.

I didn't even bother going to Gaper Day today because it was snowing and cloudy all day long. Fuck Calgary :( More snow in April than January and February combined. I WANT SPRING SKIING!!!

Couldn't stop skiing today. Skied from 9-4:30 and only stopped for water once. Found powder all 7.5 hours. Got some of the first tracks on E Chair, Imperial Lift, and hiking Peak 7 too.

Side note: Three People fell off the Chair 6 lift today at Breck (no more than 5 feet into powder). They all got booed by the 50-60 people (probably more) behind them in line who had been waiting for the chair to open for an hour.

I skied vail today and it was amazing, what do you think they would do if i skinned up tomorrow and skied? and i skied from 8 to 2 and minus the crowds i skied powder the entire time, in the morning the rim was perfect and later on the bumps on high line.but thats a real question what do you guys think will happen if i skin up?

It's employee day tomorrow, so I probably wait a few days after to start skinning. As long as you go early, it's not really a problem at most resorts.
