Color Correction?

Okay so i am getting more into editing and some of the shots i have look kind of dull. I watched a video and it said to put color correction into an edit.. But what exactly is that and how do I do it on imovie??

I'm sorry but why the fuck are you using iMovie? Download Premiere or Final Cut and you'll have a much better time.

because I already have it on my computer and don't wanna buy something else. I can't watch the video right now but whats so bad about imovie?

But iMovie is iMovie... You are extremely limited in what you can do. I've never used it as I use a PC but it's just super basic. I believe you CAN color correct in it, albeit barely. Also with Premiere you can download a 30 day free trial, so you have no excuse not to switch/at least try it
 
alright man, thanks for the advice..but while i have most of our edit done so far , does anyone know how to color correct in imovie??
