Colleges and Ski Resorts in Colorado?

What are the top resorts in colorado and are there any sick colleges or universities close to those resorts? Help me out i want to party and ski while getting a lil education.

if you want to go to college to ski you dont go to colorado, for some reason people see colorado as great skiing, when in reality it isnt

WTF are you talking about???? CO is the sickest. Look into Colorado School of Mines for engineering, CU for everything, Colorado College for liberal arts, and Colorado Mountain College just for skiing.

DU for sure. 18 skiing national champioships (including this year) no other D1 sports team has than many in any sport. DU is in denver and has a gorgeous campus and is only like an hour from summit county.

I go to du if you wanna message me or whatever- its a sick school for sure. really cool skiing vibe here too. top 50 business school in the world.

CU: 1.5-2 hrs from good skiing, expensive, big party school, etc.

CSU: 2-3hrs from good skiing, cheaper, still a lot of parties, probably easier to get work done, etc.

CMC: 2 yr college, located in many ski towns

Mines: engineering, lots of dudes, depression...

Western: close to the butte, not really a top tier school, cold as shit

Why not go to college with skiing on your mind? As long as you aren't stupid about drinking and skiing you will have a great time.

University of Nevada, Reno. Reno is only about a half hour drive to Squaw valley.

i think there is one on lake tahoe or something called Sierra-Nevada college, i know someone who goes there and loves it. wait wasn't this supposed to be for Colorado?

Oh nevermind, you go to U of U. Well, Utah does have better snow that Colorado most of the time.

BUT, Colorado does have great skiing. There are more major resorts in Colorado, more acreage, etc, etc. Yes, Utah has Snowbird and Alta, but I think Vail has PC beat anyday. Besides, Colorado schools are better.

CC is way too fucking hard, and i think its in the springs, which is 3 hours to a good ski area. the Air Force is gay... CSU is hick, and far, i heard its alright tho. CMC is a slacker school, but they have campuses 30 minutes from Aspen, in Summit COunty and in Steamboat. Then you got good schools - CU and DU which are about 2 hours from Summit County... but Denver has such sick urban dude... its insane... its about the same grade as SLC... but its like 2 times as big...

Im going to CMC steamboat springs, just for the fact that it is cheap, I carry a good GPA and ACT scores so I feel like I am wasting myself, I just hope that if I work hard I can get a great education and companies won't look down upon me for going to CMC...I can't afford 20 thousand a year, almost got a full ride to REGIS in denver though, that would have been sick..But yeah that ended up falling through due to bad play....

 
better snow? no, more of it? yes. CO powder is some of the lightest best powder in the world and it is ususually nice and sunny. Utah gets more snow but it is more overcast and wetter snow. It is a trade off, in my opinion i take colorado ne day but it's what ever you like about skiing that counts.

yeah i hear cu is full of stuck up rich bitches and my sister goes to csu and she likes it and its only like 2hrs away from most places. but id go to cmc just cause its in steamboat and steamboats the best place ever.

 
CSU hick? you're thinking of UNC Greeley dude. but it takes about two hours or so to get from ft collins to the mountains.

DU is super sick small school urban and sick scheduling, CU is amazing you got boulder and the chill sorroundings, and CSU is amazing ft collins is a sick town but there business school is way over crowded and thats what kept me away
