k well there's sierra nevada college in incline village at tahoe (talk to VC if you're interested, he goes there). there are a million schools in LA an hour or 2 from big bear. sacramento state is about an hour and a half from tahoe, UC davis a little further. UNReno is like a half hour from mt. rose, an hour from squaw and stuff. there are a lot of choices. good luck
