Yo, first off i know that there is a search bar but i feel that a good college thread hasn't been made in at least 5 years, and a lot can change imo in 5 years. I am gonna be a senior in HS next year and i am currently living in colorado but on a real the only good college here is School Of Mines and everything is hella expensive that would intest me here but i am not super smart i got a 1200 on my SAT and i have about a 3.0. I only have about 40-60,000 to spend on college and have begun looking around, I really have a bug for skiing and honestly i think its truly addictive so i am looking to say in the west or Midwest for college and was hoping for some help. Thanks guys honestly anything you guys can do to help me out is much appropriated.

Bust out a few months at slcc then transfer to the U.

Salt lake is killer and the skiing is great and close.

I'm trying to get to SLC and then go to SLCC, my homie goes there and says it's pretty good. It's also cheap as hell with in state and I already have in PC and SLC. There's also the U but I think Westminster is cheaper.

Tuition at westminny is like 30k, compared to around 8k for in state tuition at the U...

That's why I said "I think" lol but wow, I'd still rather go to slcc, mostly because an SAT or ACT score doesn't exist for me... But why is there no in state tuition discount for Westminster?

they're a private school

U of U sounds like a good school for you. Not selective at all, cheap once residency kicks in, and very accessible to the mountains.
