Im over it. im done with cold toes every damn day. Its not my boots i've have 7 different boots in the past 4 years. its not the size or brand ive had many different brands and bot lasts, and boot fitters fitting boots. Ive tried thicker socks, thinner socks. Ive tried compression socks, ive tried those stupid charcoal heaters. The only thing that works anymore is letting them go ice cold and then go inside to warm them up and they seem to be alright. But Im just done with it.

What do you guys use for boot heaters. Whats the best ones, Im not worried so much about price I just need it to work. Rechargeable battery would be killer as well.

My toes will think you tremendously!

Have you tried getting your feet amputated and replaced with robotics?

its on my wish list to santa so hopefully he pulls through this year.

if not i figure electronic boot heaters are a close second

I feel your pain op. Same thing with me no matter what boot. I just have sucky circulation. If you get boot heaters let me know they work for ya

Hey OP!

One factor that really pronounces the effects of cold toes is having moisture on your socks or in your ski boot. A trick I've recently learned to help combat this problem is to wear a normal pair of socks to the mountain, then adorn your ski socks in the parking lot/lodge where you know you're not going to be walking in the snow or sweating in your shoes in the car. I hope this helps!

Intuition liners will help a bunch.

Boot heaters are pretty nice tho. I tried my buds old nordica race boots he had em in b/c he was a coach and wow, on of the coldest boots around was like a fire place. It just sucks to lose those battery packs.

no ones reading what ive written are they. ive done all this. I get my boots bootfitted, heat molded, and custom foot beds every single time. Ive owned four different boots, touring and alpine, with different intuition liners. Ive been skiing for 24 years and know that when I wear boots to the ski hill, my feet are going to sweat, and the moisture will make my feet wet when i put them in my ski boots. Ive done it all

This isnt a thread asking how to keep my toes warm im asking for a solution and boot heaters seem to be the way to go at this point. Unless they are a sham and im just fucked for the rest of my hopefully long ski life.

Don't worry op. I read it all and am looking into toe warmers too :D

Hottronics are the way to go, you'll have a battery on the top of you boots but other than that there aren't really any downsides

I have the Hottronics brand because my boots are ice boxes and having painfully cold toes everyday was honestly making skiing not that fun for me. They're kind of expensive but they're wonderful, I highly recommend em if you're getting cold toes. I wish I had gotten them sooner.

put baby powder on yo feet. It wicks moisture away and it is mad easy to put your ski socks on. also it smells like a baby but less like milk and shit...Nah meen

This is a thing? Why have i never known about this. How much do these socks cost if this is legit?

They're legit. $200-300. Hotronics are less expensive and seem to work pretty well for most people.

sure. nailed it bud.

thanks for the help from the others who arent afraid to talk about their cold toes!

soup get Sidas boot heaters.

I currently have hotronics, the batteries are a little bigger and clunkier and the cables come out quite often (getting hit with chair etc)

sidas are a little bit more expensive, but lower profile and are warmer.

boot heaters will change your life, fuck the haters.

also you could look at lenz socks. they are good because you can use them skating, or whatever outdoor winter activities you do and they arent isolated to one pair of footwear.

Thanks homie ill check those out!

Hottronics. I've put them in lots of peoples boots.. especially those who have downsized for race performance fits and just can't get the right circulation especially on cold days.

they can cost anywhere from $50-150

they work well and are much cheaper

also you can wash them and not lose them everytime you buy new boots

look for them online

i know it's already been said but its probably just poor circulation.

if you can walk around outside in regular shoes without an issue then your boots are just too tight. I had the same problem for a whole season before i realized taking the buckle down one notch would fix everything.

I feel your pain. I had the same issue. I ruled out equipment after years of trial and error. There are two causes of cold feet, poor fitting equipment (reduced circulation) or a vascular issue.

You seem to be suggesting a vascular issue since you've ruled out equipment. The best answer to a vascular issue is going to be your doctor or a podiatrist.

I went through every boot fitting option possible, but strangely got the answer from my doctor. A medicine I was taking was screwing with my circulation.

I started taking an anti-inflammatory (aspirin / ibuprofen) on the way to ski and felt a night and day difference. I would obviously consult your doctor before doing anything, but I would at least run it by him. There are also more "natural" circulation remedies out there. Circulation issues are fortunately a well researched area because they are so prevalent in elderly patients.

we sell thermic soles in our store, pretty easy to install, just need to put the pad on the footbed, make a hole in it to feed the wire out from under the insole and out the back of the liner.

lookup the thermic power socks too if you want socks that heat up

I bought hotronics 2 years ago. Game changer. Whoever seeing people in the siadas low profile makes me want to change. I did go with hotronics because a rep got me them for cheap.
