Cold heels from Pivots?

I’ve noticed on really cold days my heels start to get cold. Wondering if this is partly caused by the metal in the heel piece of the pivots.

my guess is that your feet get cold on really cold days due to the fact that its a lot colder than normal and therefore your feet get colder

definitely not from binders. Lots of times cold is caused by to much volume in the boot (like thick socks). This slows blood circulation and may cause you to get cold. A ski boot is hard plastic with a quarter inch of foam all around ( roughly). That should be enough to keep you warm in some really cold conditions.

I was saying the clamp part of the heel since that touches a good amount of the boot. Idk just theorizing since my heel is the only part that gets cold
