i love to gab about skiing, especially edits. glad people are willing to post edits in SG, seems stupid not to!

Sick edit, def. got me stoked. and I hope these Kastle skis don't turn out to be as expensive as there saying, cause I'd love to give em a try.

Yep, it's always a pleasure to watch Colby, because he has so much fun just being himself, which usually entails acting like a crazy person, but still, always a pleasure.

I might be in Kaprun next winter. I skied there years ago but my memory isn't too hot so some recent info would be a huge help. The park looks much better than it used to be but can you remind me how the big mountain terrrain is- steeps & cliffs etc?

Kaprun/ kitzsteinhorn is so big for pow and bigmountain skiing you won't believe it.. think u could say it's the best in austria, and the backcountry is so easy to reach and save ;)!!

Haha, exactly.

I love Colby, but just look at his shots in The way I see it.

There's pretty much none. There's funny shots and what not. But for example: Alyeska. He's talking about how 'the boys' have been killing it without him on that sick jump and the ONLY shot he got was a rodeo 5... Versus triples and ultra steezy switch zero spin blunt grabs...

So, you've never been anywhere else in Austria i presume? Don't get me wrong, Kitz has got some great pow skiing, but in Austria i would say it's an average resort. It is not even close to being the best in Austria. Sölden, St Anton, Saalbach, Leogang, Kaunertal, Mayrhofen, Hintertux and many others blow Kitz out of the water.

if u have already been to kaprun, think u have just skied langwied and those pow roots, right?? but u have not skied the backside of kitzsteinhorn.. there's backcountry pure, nearly as big as the skiing area side of kitzsteinhorn... by the way I'm from kaprun and I'm skiing all over austria the wohle year, but no backcountry terrain is as easy to reach as kitzsteinhorn!!

park is dope. The only prob is that when the weather is bad, ITS BAD, jus cause there's no trees. If I had the choice, I think I'd choose Flachauwinkl/ Absolutpark for winter/ spring and then Dachstein for summer/ fall, but Kitz was a good second choice and easy to get to w/ no car!!

Well i guess i missed that when i skied Kitz for a whole season. You actually believe that Kitz is the best in Austria for BC? It smells a little like local patriotism, but whatever. As someone who just does seasons, or visit for a week or two, Kitz has definitely not got the best terrain in Austria, from my experience. And can you get back in to the ski area if you ski the backside?

You have to have someone pick you up or take a taxi back to the main gondola. But it is definitely a super sick area.

That was one of the best (in terms of interest) I've seen in ages. Great stuff super entertaining and some sick skiing.

Its not that he sucks, he just doesn't try in comp skiing, he just has fun, and is trying to be like Luke VV.

He was awesome in seven sunny days. That was the best Colby. That said, he still kills it in this edit and it was fun to watch.

Best Colby Segment ever

yeah i agree. If he wasn't funny I don't think he'd still be very big at all. Look at the cork 9 at 1:22, every dew tour guy would be grabbing the very tip of the ski or blunt like Henrik but he is grabbing right near the binding. He never throws those sick dub 12 blunts anymore either.

Hilarious. Oh btw, did I mention I'm heading for Kitz this weekend? :D The scenery is absolutely mindblowing. I mean...in terms of quality and size, European parks are still not even close to American standards. But for a decent shooting, we do have the better backdrop. :D

I miss colby's switch 7 dub tip grabs. I sure hope he gets in the olympics because he's an awesome guy but he has to steo his gamr up a shit lode. Hes fun ti watch ski though.
