Colby College Rail Setup

My friend and I were looking for a good spot to set up some pvc rails this winter when we stumbled across a pile of snow that looked like someone built a jump a few days before. We then found a nice metal rail with wooden supports laying on the ground. This was in an open field by the top parking lot. Anyone use this rail/plan on setting it up. We are planning on setting up our rails here this winter.

word some of my friends and i built that jump last weekend. We need to dig some holes to set up the down rail cuz we didn't have enough snow. Do you go to Colby?

nah dude i go to messalonskee the high school in oakland. me and my friend wanted to set up that rail too but didnt know if people already planned on it. I just finished up another pvc rail today and I'm going to bring those there once we get some snow. Should have a pretty nice set up with that metal rail a jump and a few pvc rails

I visited on tuesday and was really impressed with the campus and academics. And the location is definately a big plus, being an hour from the coast or sugarloaf. How do you like it? Active ski scene?

colby is awesome man i love it so much. classes are really interesting and the courses are very comprehensive. teachers are super dedicated too. skiing is pretty big at colby, theres a good deal of kids who ski park and some snowboarders too. we usually have like 8 kids or so skiing with us. lots of other colby kids ski too but not as much in the park. but yeah colby is so sick, definitely consider it.

^thanks man. I'm really only beginning my college search, but I'm ruling out most schools if they're not in the mountains or on the coast. no midwest thanks. I don't think my parents would support UVM either. Right now, middlebury, colorado college, bowdoin, whitman, and colby are my top choices. Just how bad is the drive in CO? I should probably check a northwest forum for whitman.

i plan on buying a groomer for next season so colby will have the best backyard park in the state of maine. if that helps you choose schools at all.

Parker, you will be lucky to even make it into Colby College considering you said "me and my friend." Improper grammar young man, it's actually my friend and I.

Haha, jokes!

Colby seems like such a good school along with UMaineFarmington.
