Coaching Job?

Anybody wanna fill me in on how the freestyle instruction/coaching job is done? I know some resorts hav them, and I think I'd be stoked to get into that with the groms, but I'm not sure how you go about getting that job or what the qualifications are like at all, if at all.

get experience teaching/coaching however you can...

doesn't matter if it's the mighty mites or a junior freeride program - no program wants to put you in charge without some degree of teaching/coaching experience as it shows you have at least some degree of patience

maybe look into USSA certification, PSIA etc.

and then yea, actually being good at skiing is important too

Be a ski instructor then if your mountain has a program they shoul be able to get you some kind of freestyle cert. If not go to a mountain that does. Also get psia certified because it will make your resume legit if you wanna go to another resort.
