Yooo just stressin over college shit. I need you homies to tell me if Colorado mountain college is the way to go for 2 years. Smart dude, good gpa, hoping to get into ski/board business then transfer to Boulder. Just wanna get out West and experience the life before it gets real serious. Thanks boyz anything helps!

no I live in Ontario but that sounds like a good time to me, what else are you thinking about doing?

Just tryna do what I love, somethin along the lines of ski industry biz/resort management. Probably just gonna get to a good 4-year near a mountain otherwise, make the rents proud

Don't a lot of the ski business classes not transfer. I dunno that's not what I took when I was there but I thought I heard or saw that somewhere? They have a 4 year program now as well in business and something else

The only real plus to going to one of the cmc's is being close to the mountain. other than that they're in super expensive areas, the male to female ration is like 8:1, mountain towns are really only fun after you're 21 and can go to bars, and if you plan on going to cu after you may as well start there.

I dont know how much it costs but i would consider it before you go. no sense in overpaying for school just so you can ski

The cons are def outweighing the pros, I was just looking for a chill place to kinda ease in to the West mountain lifestyle, thank you all tho much appreciated!

Im at the CMC campus now. Classes that are specific to the Ski and Snowboard Biz degree are not going to transfer to boulder which is gonna screw you over.

Just do the 4 year biz degree at steamboat or do it at boulder, don't try and split it between two schools.

Minor threadjack, but it shouldn't be too bad. Does anyone know anything about their Outdoor Rec Leadership program? I'm currently enrolled at a community college in my area knocking out Gen eds and what-not. The ORL program seems pretty cool and like something I would love to get into.

5:1 in the summer3:1 in the winter

quality is hard to find, you gotta drop your scale by like like 2-3 points
