when about does hood close up in the fall?

This is a painful and depressing thought, but Timberline historically closes the lifts for two weeks for maintanence after the Labor Day weekend. Last year they didn't reopen until winter, but they usually have a fall season.

This year they should have enough snow that we can hike whatever is left of the park (I haven't used the lift since Memorial Day). There will probably be snow enough left to build a booter at the very least.
