Closest Line Ski to OG Chronic?

Been riding Vs for a few seasons but the edge blew out, so I'm looking to get a second pair of skis similar to my favorite ski of all time which was the OG (pre-2020 redesign) Chronic. I know Line is dropping the new Chronic 94/101 next season and I'm considering copping, but wasn't sure how close they actually are to the OG version in terms or shape and overall feel.

Are the Wallisch's a closer match? Did anyone else ride the OG chronic and get a newer ski that is a close match? Am I just an old fart stuck in his old ways? Any input appreciated.

Wallisch would be closest out of the current Line skis, I think the model you're talking about was the 2013-2016 (or so) chronic which was 92 underfoot with a lil bit of rocker and a lot of camber. Not the OG chronic which was a full camber 80 something underfoot 2x4. ARV 96 might be close actually, similar rocker lines and flex.

Also, if you blew out your vishnu edges, you're going to blow out TW pros in a fraction of the time.

I reckon the Season Aero is gonna be pretty close if you're after a more all mountain type ski, or something from J Skis?

Following this thread as I want to replace my 2014 Chronics.

Thanks! Hate the TWall graphics but liked the shape of them in person, so that makes sense and is now an option. Do you know how drastic the difference between current and that older chronic are?

I'd also consider any other brands that make a similar ski, just not ARVs ? rode em and wasn't a fan.

volkl revolt 90 might be the pick then. Very similar shape / rocker to TW pro and not as stiff as you'd think.

Thank you! Right now it's looking like Revolts, Wallischs, Prodigy 1s, V Keys, and new Chronics are all options. Gonna read up on each one and go see them in person before I decide.

Let us know what you find, pretty hard to get hands on a lot of these in person in the UK other than ordering online so I'd be keen to know what you think on the ones you get to see or try out
