the movie i believe sticks really closely to the book, except the parts that wouldnt really be legal to portray. but it is a brilliant movie none the less. The Book is much more brilliant though

 
he could have made that movie soooo much darker. and twisted.

Def a great flick. It was really well done. Stanely K is the man.

The book is absolutely brilliant. It is unfortunate that Anthony Burgess never made another book as good as that work of art. If you decide to read it, don't be a pussy, get the version without the glossary in the back.

Stanley Kubrick is only the man sometimes. He completely destroyed the shinning, but i did enjoy this movie. The book though, as stated above is much better.

Someone stole it from our movie place, but my dad wouldn't let me see it anyway,he didn't even want me reading the book. But i borrowed it and watched it at my moms.

I know someone who read the first 3 pages, then couldn't sit still any longer.

The original is pretty much always better. In this case I think the book is way better, cause the movie changed a lot of things, I think that's why it's called Stanley Kubrick's ACO instead of Anthony Burgees.
