Whenever i ski powder i always hold back because i am afraid of my ski popping off and submarining under the snow, leading to up to hours of searching in deep snow.

SO does anyone have any tips on avoiding this?

There's not a lot to it. Land with your tips (or tails) up and crank your dins. You're gonna lose skis occasionally, and it might take a while to find them sometimes. In my experience, most of the times when you lose skis in powder it's not from hucking huge cliffs or tip diving upon landing, it's from pre-releasing during a turn or clipping rocks under the surface or other stupid little things that you can't predict.

take advantage of your powder!! im from the midwest and i would kill a man to ski that shizzz
