im looking to go to bc next week hopefully after they get snow on monday and was wondering where to go to get some good cliff drops? or any other good terrain for that matter? are there any bc access gates? help me out

There is some pretty good BC, you just need to take Larkspur Express then take the cat walk to your immediate left all the way you can. I doubt that there will be enough snow for cliff dropping, but there are definitely some cliffs.

Hey debt, that's three words. Where are Stone Creek Chutes and how do you get to them? I thought I'd skied every inch of the Beav. Also, unless they get some decent snow up there, I wouldn't be dropping anything big. Even the stuff in the trees got baked because it was so warm out last week. You'll be landing on Teflon, unless you can find something that gets no sun. Wait Stone Creek Chutes, is that the stuff directly behind Beano's cabin, in Rose Bowl? If that's what your talking about, right now I bet that thing is either concrete or totally rotted out. Go to Vail.

what do you guys think about tomorrow? hopefully one of you lives up there and can give an update on the snow.

Sorry, I didn't see this sooner. I was up yesterday. Skied Vail. More snow the farther East you went. I don't think the Beav got that much; 5 inches maybe. Still not big drop conditions. Snow down valley, may be a little stickier than usual because of all the ash from the Ak volcano that erupted. It rained brown soot Sunday night. Got up and car looked like a big brown terd. More snow is on the way I heard. Usually me get some bigger dumps post volcanic eruptions; seriously. The ash somehow created more precip. The last three weeks should be fun.

ya i was at beaver and it was good for the first couple hours then the sun came out and baked the shit outta the snow before i could get into lower stone creek. hit upper and i was skiing over logs and the snow was sooo heavy you could barely make turns.

is that true about the ash? were supposed to get 10-20 in of snow in boulder so i hope it drops some off in vail for late this week.

yeah i just had my first day ever at the beav today and stone creek chutes were doooope. Iv never seen a run with so many incredible drops, we accidentally found ourselves ontop of that one that like 70ish feet and goddamn that would be amazing on an epically deep day. The only place iv skied with cooler in bounds shit than stone creek chutes is crested butte. Oh and it was amazing because even though it seemed all eleven inches they had in the past 24 hours was from yesterday and not last night, nobody had touched any of the god shit, found so many great trees and pillows, incredible april powder day.
